We are qualified, professional and reliable

Peak motorist safety bodies recommend that professional driver education is undertaken as soon as possible after a student has obtained his or her Learner Licence. This is so they can be taught the essential principles of safe driving techniques by an expert instructor.

During the early stages of learning to drive students are more at risk and professional training in a dual-control car has been shown to keep them safe.

Learner Driving Lessons

Lessons for learner drivers is what we do, we will teach you how to drive with competence and confidence. Every aspect of driving a car will be taught to our students, our lessons are always the full duration and include a debrief session after completion to ensure you get the most form each and every session.

 

Pre P1 Assessment Evaluation

P1 Assessment evaluation, by Former P1 Assessor ( not teaching assessment routes). Sorell Driving School can perform a P1 evaluation to see if your ready to sit your P1 assessment.

FAQ's

Do You travel to pick up & drop off students?

Absolutely! We will travel to pick up our students and also drop them off, we can even drop you off at a destination of your choice. Please note that this service is within reasonable expectations of traveling time/distance.

Do you have dual control cars for your students?

Yes we do, we have late model Suzuki swifts that have dual controls for safety. We also have both manual and automatic vehicles.

Can I pay by EFTPOS?

We do have EFTPOS available for payment and we accept all major credit cards.

Can I have my lessons on the weekend?

We do not provide lessons on the weekends, our hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

Are you fully insured so I am covered?

Yes, we are absolutely committed to your safety and providing the best driving lessons in Hobart. This includes full insurance for you peace of mind.
